About this board game

Hubworld: Aidalon is a competitive card game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Set in a once-thriving galactic hubworld, it casts players as Seekers competing to expand their network of influential Agents.

The Collective’s portal technology has made space travel obsolete, leaving Aidalon’s shipyards behind. Across its vertical streets and myriad districts, Seekers trade in Shards, the black-market currency used to enlist Agents and pursue daring schemes beyond the Collective’s will.

Each player is represented by a Seeker card and a custom 36-card deck. Your deck contains exactly six Agents, plus 30 additional cards chosen from up to four different factions. These cards may be Sources representing people and places, Obstacles that create traps and barriers, or Moments offering one-off abilities and tricks.

  • Construct a focused 36-card deck with six Agents.
  • Build your Grid while managing a steady supply of Shards.
  • Use defenses, distractions, and surprise effects to disrupt opposing plans.
  • Infiltrate opponents’ hand, deck, and discard to pursue their Agents.

To secure an Agent, you must delve into an opponent’s three Districts: their hand, deck, and discard. Opponents can load their Grid with hidden defenses, taxing distractions, and Agents of their own, then forge powerful cards to thwart your plans at crucial moments.

The first player to secure three Agents from opponents wins. In multiplayer games, each secured Agent must come from a different player when possible. Balancing Grid-building with aggressive tactics is central to Hubworld: Aidalon, where card economy, deduction, and suspense shape every infiltration.
