About this board game

Illimat is a dynamic card game for 2–4 players, with a listed play time of 60 minutes and individual rounds taking approximately 15 minutes. Combining the style and flavor of a classic card game with changing conditions, it challenges players to collect more cards than their opponents.

The game is played on a cloth board divided into four fields. Players combine cards and collect them as they pursue the highest total, but their plans can be disrupted by hidden Luminaries and shifting seasons.

A distinctive feature of Illimat is that the box is also part of the game. Placed in the center of the board, it sets the season for each field. Because the current season affects the actions that can be performed there, turning the box and changing the seasons becomes a critical part of strategic play.
