About this expansion
Illuminati: Bavarian Fire Drill is an expansion for 2–8 players that adds new cards, groups, and special advantages to the struggle for world domination, with a listed play time of 180 minutes.
This long-awaited expansion adds 110 new cards, illustrated mostly by Dan Smith. Its new groups include Bloggers, Reality Shows, and Intelligent Design, bringing fresh targets and conspiratorial possibilities to Illuminati.
Players can use Embedded Reporters and FEMA against the Webcams, or face threats such as Bird Flu and Bobbleheads. Fans of INWO will also recognize the return of the Deprogrammers and Science Alarmists, alongside more groups from the best-selling conspiracy collectible card game.
Bavarian Fire Drill introduces a new kind of card: Artifacts. These cards may be magical, technological, or simply strange, but each gives its owner an unfair advantage in the contest for control.
- Hitler’s Brain
- The Spear of Longinus
- The Screaming Meme
These unusual Artifacts are only the beginning. The expansion’s title hints at the kind of secretive language and absurd conspiracy flavor that defines its presentation: you know what it means, but your cover demands that you pretend not to.
The German Pegasus edition contains 120 cards: 108 translated English cards, 10 additional group cards, and two blanks. Illuminati: Bavarian Fire Drill expands the original Illuminati game with new groups, new dangers, and new ways to pursue an unfair edge.
