Israeli Independence: The First Arab-Israeli War is an introductory-level solitaire wargame for one player, with games lasting about 15 minutes. It recreates the First Arab-Israeli War, also known as Israel’s War for Independence.

Five Arab armies stand poised at the borders of the newly declared state and launch determined invasions. Your challenge is to allocate the precious few resources of the new Israeli Defense Force (IDF), conducting daring offensives to push the invading forces back.

Each Arab army must be pushed back in turn before any reaches West Jerusalem, the new Israeli capital. As the headlines unfold and the Arab League’s forces press forward, you must fight to prevent the threats from overwhelming the fledgling state.
