About this expansion

Jet Set: Distant Lands – Expansion Set 1 is an expansion set for Jet Set for 2–6 players, with an approximately 90-minute play time. Released in 2011, it adds four new ways to play, plus a large selection of additional Flight Cards.

The set is modular, so you can add its expansions individually or combine them for a broader game experience. It includes 50 new Short Flight Cards, 40 new Long Flight Cards, and 18 new Final Flight Cards, giving you more options across the different flight types.

• Investor: Eight cards inject money when Vacation cards are drawn, based on conditions shown on the card. One example awards €2 for each VP.
• Business: Forty cards let you bend the rules in ways such as placing free planes, locking down an unclaimed Flight Card, or collecting tax money from other players’ income.
• Hubs: Plastic hub markers and die-cut tokens add VP and income bonuses for routing flights through certain cities.
• Distant Lands: Two small boards, an International Flights deck, and 12 city tokens introduce Intercontinental flights that are expensive but provide a strong boost to income and VP.

With its extra cards, modular additions, and new sources of income and VP, the set expands the choices available in Jet Set without requiring every module to be used at once. Choose the elements that suit your game, or combine all four for the complete Distant Lands experience.
