About this board game

Jibber Jabble is a team word game for 3–10 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. Each round, your goal is to convey a secret word to the round’s guesser by spelling three words.

The challenge is that players spell the words one letter at a time. You and your team must create clues together, but you are not allowed to discuss which clue you are trying to spell.

That restriction creates the game’s defining tension. You may have a perfect clue in mind, only to hear the person next to you say a letter you were not expecting at all. That moment of crossed intentions is Jibber Jabble.

Every letter can shift the team’s direction, making communication depend on shared instincts rather than open explanation. The round’s guesser must use the clues your team manages to spell to identify the secret word.
