KAPOW! Volume 1

About this board game

KAPOW! Volume 1 is a buildable dice game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Choose a superhero or supervillain and face off in an explosive clash of good versus evil.

Your character determines your starting trait dice and provides unique abilities. You can also gain blank action dice with removable faces, customizing them to strengthen your character and shape the way you play.

Behind your player screen, roll your dice and decide how to allocate the results. Use them to launch attacks, defend against incoming threats, or power up your abilities. Every roll creates meaningful choices as you balance immediate actions with the long-term growth of your dice pool.

• Buildable dice pool: Gain additional action dice as the game develops.
• Customizable dice faces: Remove and arrange faces to enhance your chosen character.
• Six distinct supers: Play as one of three heroes or three villains, each with a different identity and abilities.
• Flexible player count: Play with 1–4 players when combined with KAPOW! Volume 2.

The heroes in this set are Tough Nut, Elusivity, and Time Out. The villains are Victor Kane, Coquette, and Spoiler Alert, giving you six different ways to experience the showdown.

With dice customization, tactical allocation, and character-specific powers working together, KAPOW! Volume 1 offers a strategic battle in which your choices help define every turn. Combine it with KAPOW! Volume 2 to mix and match characters or support games for up to four players.
