Kinfire Chronicles: Night’s Fall is a cooperative fantasy campaign game for 1–4 players, with play sessions lasting about 60 minutes. Choose from six unique Seekers sworn to protect the city of Din’Lux and help rebuild the world beyond.

Armed with kinfire lanterns, your group must brave the Starless Nights, confront the creatures that emerge, and stand together against malevolent forces. Each quest unfolds through three connected phases: adventuring, battle, and exploration.

1. Adventuring: Make decisions from quest cards while attempting challenges such as crossing a river or chasing a suspect. Complete them by flipping the correct number and color of cards from your decks.
2. Battle: Work together on a physical battle map to defeat enemies. Destiny chits determine turn order, while numbered enemy tokens correspond to different attacks and actions. Play action cards on your turn and boost cards during other players’ turns to deal damage, reduce harm, move allies, or return a drawn chit to the destiny bag for a redraw.
3. Exploration: On certain quests, return to Din’Lux to speak with NPCs, purchase items, and level up your decks.

Failure does not simply end a quest. Missing an objective or being defeated by an enemy can affect later gameplay and the choices available to your group, giving each decision weight.

Throughout Kinfire Chronicles: Night’s Fall, cards present difficult choices, from resting before moving on to charging into battle or deciding whether to spare a life. Follow your character’s morals and standards to earn Kinfire tokens that help you level up, while remembering that the final decisions are yours alone.
