About this board game

Kiwi Chow Down is a strategic board game for 1–4 players that takes about 50 minutes to play. Control a ravenous kiwi flock across an island, outnumber opponents, and claim territory to earn the most victory points.

The game unfolds over four seasons, with each season presenting a different objective and offering rewards. Every season contains three rounds, and the cards in your hand help determine whether you build, move, or feed while you pursue your strategy.

• Build: Claim benefits for your kiwi flock immediately and again at the beginning of each season.
• Feed: Help your kiwi birds grow so they can push smaller kiwis aside or even off the island.
• Move: Position your flock in strategic areas to outnumber opposing players.

Feeding brings opportunities as well as danger. Larger kiwi birds can displace smaller ones, but giving them too much food makes them explode. Careful timing and positioning are essential as you expand your presence and contest valuable island sections.

Your leader and larger kiwi birds can push other players’ kiwis out of the way or off the board. At the end of each season, place domain markers to claim territory. These markers are worth victory points, so each seasonal objective and each contested section can shape the final result.

When the game ends, the player with the most victory points wins. Released in 2023, Kiwi Chow Down combines flock growth, area control, hand-driven choices, and playful push-and-displace interactions in a contest for island dominance.
