About this board game

Knot Dice is a collection of games, puzzles, and art for 1–4 players, with play centered on 18 custom dice and a typical play time of 20 minutes.

Each die features Celtic knot design elements on every side. Connect the dice to form paths, closed patterns, and larger designs, or simply use them to create striking arrangements. The set includes rules for several distinct experiences, offering cooperative, competitive, real-time, campaign, and pure-strategy play.

• Kells: Work cooperatively to form a complete design using as many dice as possible. It supports 1–3 players, or more when additional sets are combined.
• Kells, The Book: Continue the cooperative challenge in a campaign version of Kells.
• Knot So Fast: Race in real time to form a closed design with your dice. It is designed for 2 players, or more with additional sets.
• Knot So Fast Too: Play a round-robin real-time tournament for 3–4 players.
• Distance: Move two tokens across the paths created on top of the dice, competing to finish with your tokens farthest apart.
• Osbox: In this 2-player pure-strategy game by Cameron Browne, select a die face and slide the die onto a 4×4 grid while attempting to complete designs.

With its connected knot faces, Knot Dice turns every play area into a space for pattern building. The range of included rules lets the same set support cooperative planning, speed, positional movement, tournament play, and abstract strategy.
