About this board game

Kronia is a board game for 2–5 players that takes about 45 minutes to play. In this contest for leadership, a new leader must be chosen by the gods, and every player seeks to influence their decision.

To gain divine approval, players make offers to three different temples. Favor tokens are placed in these temples, creating the focus for a twelve-round struggle in which timing, observation, and careful choices matter.

Everyone begins with the same offer cards, so the challenge is not simply having the right cards. Players must anticipate which gods their opponents want to please and decide when to commit their more appealing offers.

• Compete across three temples.
• Make secret offers over twelve rounds.
• Read your opponents while managing an identical set of offer cards.
• Score points from the favor tokens you collect.

Using a strong offer at the right moment may help you win favor, but spending it too early can leave you with fewer options later. Holding off can be just as important as making an immediate bid, especially when several players appear to be pursuing the same god.

At the end of the game, the player with the most points from their favor tokens is chosen to lead the nation into the future. Released in 2017, Kronia combines hidden intentions, shared card information, and competition for temple favor in a focused battle for the gods’ decision.
