About this board game
Lasalle is a miniatures wargame for 2–6 players, with battles lasting around 180 minutes. It is the first wargame in the HONOUR series, placing players in command of a brigade or division during the Napoleonic Wars.
This is a small-scale, tactical game focused on the movement of individual battalions and regiments of cavalry. Each player manages a compact force of roughly a dozen units while working to complete a specific mission. The game plays in real time, making it well suited to focused engagements on a small gaming table.
- Command a brigade or division in the Napoleonic Wars.
- Move individual battalions and cavalry regiments.
- Manage a small force of approximately a dozen units.
- Attempt objectives such as holding a village and bridgehead or driving an enemy from a position.
Lasalle is designed for pick-up games and tournament play, with sample army lists that support collecting and painting typical small forces from a wide range of possible nationalities. Its compact format lets players get a complete battle on the table without requiring a large gaming area.
Groups with a club, larger collection, and more table space can also use the system to represent historical battles of the Napoleonic Wars. Multiple players and multiple forces can recreate engagements such as Quatre Bras, Albuera, Saalfeld, or Eggmühl, expanding a small tactical game into the excitement of a significant battle.
