About this expansion
Lawyer Up: Witch Trial is a two-player game about a judicial system overwhelmed by mass hysteria, with each game lasting about 75 minutes.
Set during the infamous witch trials of colonial Massachusetts, this case examines a time when more than two hundred people were accused of being witches between February 1692 and May 1693. Here, the jury is removed from the proceedings and replaced by an angry mob ready to hang anyone it believes to be a witch.
The Prosecution and the Defense face sharply different objectives. The Prosecution aims to hang three witnesses as witches before running out of cards, while the Defense must scramble to keep the mob under control and prevent a full-blown witch hunt.
