Le Havre: Le Grand Hameau is the first official non-promo expansion for Le Havre, supporting 1–5 players with an approximately 150-minute play time. Released in 2010, it adds a substantial new collection of Special Buildings to the game.

The expansion contains 30 new Special Buildings, offering a fresh deck to use in place of the Special Building deck from the base game. You can also combine these cards with all the other Special Buildings, giving you a flexible way to customize the cards used in your game of Le Havre.

The new buildings were designed by several BoardGameGeek users and developed by Uwe Rosenberg and Grzegorz Kobiela. The credited designers are Jay Volk, Darrell Perrins, Kevin Lee, Brian Cherry, Mikko Ämmälä, Anthony Snider, Eric Boivin, Ken Roberts, and Matt Tonks.

Alongside its new content, Le Grand Hameau includes three correction cards addressing misprints in the base game. The expansion is also included in the 2013 and later editions of Le Havre, making it a notable part of those editions. Whether used on its own as a replacement Special Building deck or combined with the wider collection, Le Havre: Le Grand Hameau provides an official way to expand the building cards available in the game.
