About this board game

LEDA is an asymmetric card game for two players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Each player leads an animal clan with its own rules, objectives, and playstyle in a forgotten realm where civilizations are awakening.

Every player begins with a 4×4 grid of basic tiles. During the game, you modify this grid by upgrading tiles and playing clan cards onto them, gradually shaping an engine suited to your clan’s ambitions. Cats, pandas, sharks, scorpions, and other animal clans each bring a different vision of the future.

On each turn, an action tile determines which zone of the grid becomes active. The effects located in that zone are triggered, challenging you to plan your activations carefully and make the most of your evolving layout.

• Manage food, the game’s main resource, while improving your engine.
• Fulfill your clan’s unique victory condition while racing toward military victory.
