Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game – Marvel Studios, Phase 1 is a deck-building game for 1–5 players, with play sessions lasting about 60 minutes.

Play as heroes from the first six Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow. Evil Masterminds such as Loki and Red Skull lead Villains and pursue dark Schemes that threaten the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Each player begins with a personal deck of basic Hero cards. At the start of your turn, reveal the top card of the Villain Deck to show how danger enters the city, including Villain invasions, captured Bystanders, and special events. Then play Heroes from your hand to generate Attack, Recruit Points, and special abilities.

Use Attack to defeat Villains and Recruit Points to add more powerful Heroes to your deck. When your deck runs out, shuffle your discard pile to create a new deck containing the Heroes you recruited, allowing your deck to grow stronger throughout the game.

• Race against Schemes that can give evil the victory if left unchecked.

In Legendary: Marvel Studios Phase 1, the Avengers return with images from Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Avengers. The nearly 400-card set includes three Masterminds, including the all-new Iron Monger and his Iron Foes, plus a full-color rulebook and an updated playmat.
