Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game – Secret Wars, Volume 1 is a Marvel deck-building game for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. This 2015 expansion is the second big-box expansion for Marvel Legendary since Dark City, released in 2013.

Players can work with or against one another as they face the various Battleworlds while laying waste to planet Earth. The set introduces characters and threats from alternate universes, bringing the 2015 Marvel Secret Wars storyline to the table.

The new Heroes include members of the Illuminati and Cabal. The Illuminati are brilliant Heroes searching for a way to stop parallel dimensions from colliding, while the Cabal pursue a darker solution: destroying other dimensions with antimatter bombs.

• 14 new Heroes, including Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Namor, Miles Morales, Captain Marvel, and Old Man Logan
• 6 new Villain groups
• 5 new Masterminds
• 8 new Schemes

Battle across distinctive regions of Battleworld, including the Domain of Apocalypse, Monster Metropolis, the Deadlands, Limbo, and the Wastelands. These settings provide the backdrop for clashes between assembled teams and powerful enemies.

Secret Wars, Volume 1 also introduces a major new way to play: for the first time, one player can take the role of the Mastermind and oppose the other players. Whether joining forces or competing directly, Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game – Secret Wars, Volume 1 expands the Marvel experience with new factions, alternate-universe favorites, and a dramatic Battleworld setting.
