Legends of Andor: Liberating the Mine is a free legend for the base game, designed for 2–4 players and a playing time of about 60 minutes.

In this complete legend setup, the heroes must find the dark mage Vakur and defeat him. Vakur is hiding in the mine of the dwarves, a location protected by the Skrals.

The story reveals an encounter that took place before the heroes fought the dragon Tarok. Only a few knew that the heroes had met the dark mage before that confrontation, adding a previously hidden event to the world of Andor.
