Leviathan Wilds is a cooperative adventure game for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 90 minutes, in which climbers scale colossal creatures to heal a world torn apart.

Long ago, the once-gentle leviathans lost their minds and devastated the world. Now humanity has discovered that these frenzied beings can be restored by removing the binding crystals embedded across their bodies.

Each leviathan is presented across the pages of a spiral-bound storybook that forms the game board. The book also supports a connected campaign built around the game’s story, featuring twenty scenarios estimated to take around 45 minutes each. Tougher difficulty levels add further replayability.

• Unique climber decks: Every character uses a distinct deck of multi-use cards for climbing, jumping, and gliding in different ways.
• Grip and falling: The cards remaining in a character’s deck represent their grip. If the deck runs out, they begin falling until they reach a rest space.
• Raging leviathans: The creature’s event deck triggers attacks and movement effects, while rising rage intensifies those effects.
• Crystal-focused objectives: Players spend action points and ability cards to reach the crystals and reduce each one to zero.

Movement takes place on a square grid overlaid on the leviathan’s body. Players must balance health, grip, blight, and positioning while responding to events that can weaken them, shift their location, or loosen their hold.

Victory in Leviathan Wilds comes from reducing all of a creature’s crystals to zero. With cooperative play, varied character decks, a story-driven campaign, and escalating difficulty, every climb presents a dangerous challenge to overcome together.
