About this board game

Life Siphon is a 2–4 player board game with an approximately 40-minute play time, released in 2019. In a world where dragons have driven humanity underground, explorers uncover a mysterious box marked with the warning “DO NOT OPEN.” Naturally, it is opened—and everyone is instantly cursed.

Now, the only escape is to use your new cursed powers against your closest friend. Players summon Familiars and cast spells, but every action comes at the cost of their own health. The more aggressively you attack, the more vulnerable you become.

Each player’s goal is to defeat the player on their left. At the same time, they must defend themselves against the player on their right, creating a tense battle where offense and survival are closely connected. The game ends as soon as the first player’s health drops to zero.

• Play with 2–4 players.
• Use cursed powers to summon Familiars and cast spells.
• Spend your own health to fuel your actions.
• Attack the player on your left while defending against another opponent.

In Life Siphon, careful planning is essential. You may even find yourself helping your attacker if it gives you the chance to deliver the killing blow yourself. Every decision can shift the balance between mounting an effective offense and leaving yourself open to defeat.

With its dangerous powers, health-based costs, and unusual target structure, Life Siphon turns every attack into a risk. Decide when to spend your life, when to defend, and when to make the final strike.
