About this board game
Loop Inc. is a time-travel board game for 2–4 players, with each game taking about 40 minutes. You work for a struggling time travel agency where careful timing can earn you a bonus—and where mistakes may damage the delicate space-time continuum.
The game unfolds over three days, but each day is actually the same day experienced from a different point in time. On the first attempt, each player performs three actions and sends out a time machine. Actions can include gathering components, setting up advertising, and more.
At the end of the day, everyone travels back to the beginning and tries again. The catch is that your past selves are still carrying out the actions from the previous version of the day. You must repeat those earlier actions while also performing three new ones, and you gain an additional time machine to launch.
- Play through the same day three times.
- Coordinate new actions with the actions of your past selves.
- Gather components, set up advertising, and pursue profitable trips.
- Manage the growing chaos of repeated time travel.
By the third attempt, everything compounds further, making the order and timing of your decisions increasingly important. Your past selves can help build a successful plan, but they can also make the day harder to control.
At the end of the third day, the player who completed the most profitable trips wins, provided they have not caused too many tears in the space-time continuum. With its repeating-day structure and escalating actions, Loop Inc. turns time travel into a puzzle of planning, timing, and controlled chaos.
