Lords of Xidit

About this board game

Lords of Xidit is a strategy board game for 3–5 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Set in the Kingdom of Xidit, it casts players as noble heirs known as the Idrakys, racing to restore peace and forge their legends.

The Black Southern Host has arisen, corrupting the hearts of indigenous creatures and driving them to attack human cities. As an Idrakys, you must roam the Kingdom, recruit brave soldiers, and reclaim the cities threatened by this mysterious sickness.

Your achievements can earn more than gratitude. Accumulate wealth, send bards to sing your praises, and build Sorcerers’ Guilds as you compete for influence across the Kingdom. Every decision contributes to your standing when the final reckoning begins.

Simultaneous programming keeps players planning ahead and acting without room for complacency. At the end of the game, players compare their influence in one category at a time. The player with the least influence in that category is eliminated, and their pieces are removed from the board before the next comparison.

The order of elimination is determined randomly at the start of play, encouraging a different approach in every game. Success is not simply about building a strong position; you must also consider which forms of influence will matter most when the final sequence unfolds.
