About this board game
Lost Legacy: Binbo Tantei to Inbo no Shiro is a risk, deduction, and luck card game listed for 2–8 players, with a playing time of about 10 minutes.
The game contains two sets of 16 cards: Orb of Seduction and Eternal Grail. Each set is a slightly different game using the same rules, so you do not use all the cards at once. Choose one set, or create a custom 16-card mix from both.
At the beginning of the game, each player receives one card from the deck. On your turn, draw the top card, then choose one of the two cards in your hand to play face up in front of you. Resolve its effect, after which the card is considered discarded.
- Draw a card and add it to your hand.
- Play one of your two cards face up.
- Carry out the played card’s effect.
- Continue until the deck is empty and the investigation begins.
When no cards remain in the deck, players take turns guessing who holds the Lost Legacy card. It may be in a player’s hand or in the Ruins, a location that starts with one card and can acquire more during play. The investigation order is determined by the investigation speed shown on each player’s card.
A correct guess wins the game. If nobody finds the Lost Legacy, everyone loses. Cards from Lost Legacy: Binbo Tantei to Inbo no Shiro can also be combined with Lost Legacy and Lost Legacy: Hyakunen Senso to Ryu no Miko, offering additional ways to form a 16-card game.
