About this board game

Maiden’s Quest is a card game for 1–5 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Instead of waiting for rescue, a determined maiden fights her way past enemies and obstacles to escape.

Players use cards from their hands to attempt to defeat each encounter. An innovative turn-and-flip mechanism lets each card represent up to four different items, encounters, or allies, creating flexible choices as the adventure unfolds.

The challenge builds throughout the game. As play continues, enemies with increasing ferocity become active, raising the difficulty and putting greater pressure on the maiden’s available cards and decisions.

• Play solo, cooperatively, or competitively with two players.
• Use cards that can represent up to four items, encounters, or allies.
• Face enemies and obstacles that grow more difficult over time.
• Play without a table or other surface.

Each encounter is resolved separately, so Maiden’s Quest is easy to pause and store between encounters. You can return to the deck later, making it suitable for short breaks, waiting in line, appointments, or relaxing at home.

The game takes 10–30 minutes when played continuously, while its self-contained encounters support a flexible stop-and-start experience. The contents support true solo play, cooperative play, and competitive two-player games; with multiple copies, more players can join in.
