Maracaibo: The Uprising is a 2021 expansion for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 160 minutes, adding new modules and scenarios to Maracaibo.

Its central scenarios focus on pushing the predominant nations out of the Caribbean. These scenarios can be played in either competitive or cooperative mode, giving groups different ways to approach the expansion’s challenges.

The expansion also introduces asymmetrical player abilities, allowing players to encounter different capabilities during play. Optional story and legacy tiles add further elements to explore, while new project cards expand the available card content.
