Mediterranean Empires is a strategy game for 2 to 8 players, with a play time of 240 minutes, depicting the hegemonic struggles of the ancient Mediterranean before the Roman Empire made it Mare Nostrum.

Each player takes the leading role of an ancient empire seeking global domination—or facing subjugation. Designed for players aged 12 and up, the game presents a user-friendly system of strategy and conquest in which interaction between players is central.

Players manage a wide hand of cards that changes from turn to turn through their exploits and the events of the game. These cards represent the resources available to each empire and can be played in rounds to trigger events or launch military expeditions that expand your territory and influence.

• 2–8 players compete in a shared struggle for power.
• Cards represent troops, leaders, fleets, diplomacy, and other resources.
• The game unfolds across 3 turns, with the end of each turn unpredictable.
• Every empire has its own tailored 35-card deck.

The distinct decks reflect each empire’s unique characteristics and style of play, giving every side its own approach to the contest. Decide when to commit resources, respond to changing events, and send expeditions to extend your empire while watching the ambitions of your opponents.
