About this board game

Meeples & Monsters is a bag-building engine builder for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Set in the peaceful city of Rowan, it challenges players to prepare the city and its citizens for the dangerous monsters surrounding it.

On your turn, draw meeples from your bag and use them to take actions across the board. You can upgrade your meeples, add new ones to your bag, fight monsters, investigate towers, or improve the town to unlock more options in future turns.

After your turn, all the meeples you drew are placed in the lodging area of your player board. Managing these meeples and improving your available options are central to developing your strategy as the game progresses.

Victory points come from defeating monsters, completing quests, and investigating towers. At the end of the game, players can score additional points by fighting boss monsters and completing end-of-game quests.
