About this expansion

Memoir ’44: Mediterranean Theater is a two-player expansion for the Memoir ’44 game system, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2008, it introduces British Army figures and rules while adding a new setting through eight historical scenarios in North Africa.

This expansion also brings a new class of Special Weapon Assets that can be embedded in infantry units. These additions expand the range of forces and features available within the Memoir ’44 system.

The Mediterranean Theater Expansion includes a substantial collection of new components for building and marking the battlefield. Its contents include:

• British Army figures and rules
• A new class of Special Weapon Assets for infantry units
• Eight historical scenarios set in North Africa
• 44 new, double-sided Terrain tiles
• New obstacles and markers
• Special-forces badges

The double-sided Terrain tiles provide new battlefield elements for the included scenarios, while the obstacles, markers, and special-forces badges add further expansion-specific components. Together, these materials give the Mediterranean setting its own collection of figures, rules, scenarios, and terrain.

Designed for players who already have the base game, Memoir ’44: Mediterranean Theater expands Memoir ’44 with British Army content and a focused group of North African historical scenarios. It is part of the Memoir ’44 series and requires the original game system.
