Mephisto: The Card Game is a dungeon adventure for 1–4 players that takes about 40 minutes to play. Each player is a power-hungry adventurer who has made a pact with the archdemon Mephistopheles.

The bargain is straightforward: collect the souls of monsters encountered in the dungeon and receive unholy strength in return. However, every player is competing for the same gift. At the end of the day, only the adventurer with the most souls will claim it; everyone else is doomed to serve Mephisto for eternity.

Mephisto uses a single deck of cards, making setup and starting the game remarkably easy. As you explore the dungeon, you must manage a hand containing weapons, items, spells, and monsters. Every card is multi-use, so each one can be played for its printed ability or spent as a resource.

• Manage weapons and items as their durability degrades over time.

These choices make every card valuable in more than one way.
