About this board game

Mesozooic is a 20-minute, real-time puzzle game for 2–6 players about building the most impressive dinosaur zoo. Across three rounds, players draft desirable features, arrange them in their zoo, and score each layout.

After drafting cards into their hands, players race against time to organize their zoos. Cards are slid one at a time, creating a frantic challenge of matching features and optimizing the available layout. Careful planning and quick thinking can help create the zoo that earns the most points.

Customize your park with a range of crowd-pleasing features:

• Dinosaur enclosures: Create complete environments for gentle herbivores and powerful carnivores.
• Attractions: Add an aviary, nursery, or aquarium to entertain your visitors.
• Monorails: Connect tracks so guests can travel between different parts of the zoo.
• Topiary: Include decorative features as you shape your zoo’s layout.

Every feature brings its own planning puzzle. Completed dinosaur enclosures score points, while monorail connections reward routes that remain connected. Attractions also need regular attention: to score them, you must place a maintenance truck next to the attraction.

With dinosaurs safely behind glass, your goal is to impress guests with a well-organized prehistoric park.
