About this board game

Minuit, Meurtre en Mer is an investigation game for 2 to 6 players, with a playing time of about 90 minutes, in which private detectives investigate a murder aboard a cruise ship.

A passenger has been killed in their suite during the voyage. The crime takes place on a beautiful ship, while the twelve occupants of the restricted-access upper deck’s VIP cabins become the obvious suspects.

Players take the role of passengers who are also private detectives attending a conference on board. Together with fellow investigators, they decide to pursue the case and put their reputations at stake. To make progress, you must demonstrate insightfulness as you investigate the circumstances surrounding the crime.

The voyage is designed to be unpredictable, keeping the investigation focused on discovery rather than a fixed outcome. Your objective is to uncover some or all of the circumstances of the crime, creating a challenging mystery for groups who enjoy searching for answers in an unusual setting.

Originally published in 2017, the first edition was released only in French and Italian and is now sold out. It was followed by the unique expansion Le Jour et la Nuit in 2019, published in French. In 2023, a revised second edition in English or French was released as an all-in-one edition under the name Midnight Murder Mysteries.
