About this board game

Mission Catastrophe is a space-survival board game for 1–6 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. You take the role of an alien crew member aboard the Deep Space Mining Vessel Casimir, where an asteroid has become high-velocity, flaming death headed straight for the ship.

The vessel is doomed, and your crew must keep it running long enough to collect vital supplies and reach an escape pod. Use the ship’s modules, your role’s unique ability, and the Operations Cards you obtain as you search for the remaining working pod. There is only one, so the race to escape is just as important as keeping the ship intact.

Ship damage steadily pushes the Casimir toward destruction. Repairing the ship can be necessary, but spending too much time fixing systems may leave you watching another crew member escape while you remain behind in the cold vacuum of space.

• Play as a member of the alien crew aboard a doomed mining vessel.
• Use ship modules, unique crew abilities, and Operations Cards.
• Collect supplies and locate the last working escape pod.
• Manage repairs before accumulating damage causes the ship to explode.

Mission Catastrophe includes additional ship modules, crew member roles, and modes of play, providing a different gameplay experience from one session to the next. Whether you are trying to preserve the ship, secure supplies, or reach the escape pod in time, every decision takes place under the threat of imminent catastrophe.
