About this board game

Moirai is a card-based game for 2–4 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Released in 2025, it challenges players to create a loom with cards in which various lives are woven together.

The game draws its theme from the Moirai, the goddesses of Greek mythology also known as the Three Fates. They have set their spinning wheel in motion to weave the destiny of humankind, and each goddess has a distinct role in shaping life.

  • Clotho spins together the thread of life.
  • Lachesis uses her rod to measure the lengths of that thread.
  • Atropos decides when to cut a soul’s thread.

On your turn, choose whether to keep a card or take an entire discarded pile. You then place all of those cards in your loom, building the arrangement that will determine how your game develops.

At the end of Moirai, players score points according to the scoring criteria shown on Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos cards. The player who does the best wins, making the choices made throughout the game important to the final result.

With its focus on card placement, discarded piles, and mythology-inspired scoring criteria, Moirai presents a compact contest for 2–4 players. The result is a game about weaving together lives while responding to the choices available on every turn.
