Monster Fluxx

About this board game

Monster Fluxx is a monster-themed card game for 2–6 players that plays in about 20 minutes.

The game begins with the simple rules Draw 1, Play 1, but the rules do not have to stay that way. Players can play New Rule cards to change how the game works, creating a constantly shifting framework for play.

Monster Fluxx brings together a lively collection of classic monsters and monster-themed characters. The setting includes zombies, vampires, skeletons, an angry mob of villagers, and even Bigfoot.

• New Rule cards change the rules of the game.
• Goal cards change the winning conditions.
• Keeper cards are placed in front of players and can help meet Goals.
• Action cards provide one-time effects.

To win, a player must meet the current Goal by having the required Keeper cards in front of them. Since Goal cards can change the winning conditions, the path to victory can shift as the game develops.

Players use Action cards for their immediate effects while New Rule cards reshape the structure of the game. Managing these changing card types is at the heart of Monster Fluxx.

Returning to the monster theme first explored in Zombie Fluxx, Monster Fluxx adds vampires, skeletons, villagers, and Bigfoot to the mix. Its compact play time and support for 2–6 players make it a monster-filled Fluxx experience for a range of group sizes.
