Moonrakers: Nomad

About this expansion

Moonrakers: Nomad is an expansion for 1–5 players with a 90-minute play time, adding global events, an overhauled Contract system, and new prototype Ship Parts.

The five Moonrakers factions have continued establishing roots throughout the system. Their growing presence includes defenses, trade networks, and the Council, a loose intergovernmental organization that can influence how the game unfolds.

During each turn, a new Event card is revealed. Events may introduce challenges or rewards, and some allow players to vote on policies that change the rules. These system-wide developments give every turn a new point of focus.

Each Moonrakers faction operates from its own sector and offers Contracts that align with its goals. Players travel between these sectors to search for Contracts that fit their strengths, connecting movement through the system with the expansion’s revised Contract experience.

With its combination of changing events, faction-based sectors, policy decisions, and prototype technology, Moonrakers: Nomad expands the setting across the system while giving players new elements to consider. It was released in 2023.
