About this expansion

Mountain Goats: Expansion Pack is an expansion for 2–5 players that adds the Big Mountain and support for a fifth player to the king-of-the-hill style game, with sessions lasting about 40 minutes.

The Big Mountain offers your goat an additional target. Its path has only room for one goat at each step, creating a tense race as players attempt to make the greatest ascent.

Roll your dice and decide whether to compete for the king-of-the-hill opportunities from the base game or commit your goat to the Big Mountain. Choosing when to make that commitment is crucial, because goats on the Big Mountain may not score at all depending on their relative positions.

Unlike a simple race to the top, the Big Mountain rewards only a few goats with the greatest ascent. Every move can affect who holds the most valuable positions, making timing especially important as the game approaches its conclusion.
