Muffin Time: Deluxe Edition is a chaotic card game for 2–8 players, released in 2021, where the goal is to start your turn with exactly 10 cards in your hand.

Each turn brings new possibilities and sudden setbacks. Players draw a card, then may place up to three trap cards from their hand. As the second part of the turn, they either pick up one card or play an action card.

Every action card is unique and can have wide-ranging consequences for other players or for the game as a whole. Trap cards add another layer of uncertainty, giving players ways to disrupt plans while they work toward the winning hand size.

The game ends as soon as a player begins their turn holding exactly 10 cards. Reaching that total is the challenge: other players can thwart your progress, while the deck’s unusual effects keep the situation in constant motion.

This deluxe edition follows the same rules as the regular version but expands the deck substantially. It contains 200 cards: the standard 120 cards plus 40 cards from the Pie Flavour booster pack and 40 cards from the Rainbow booster pack.
