Munchkin Holiday Surprise is a Christmas-themed Munchkin release for 3–6 players, with a listed play time of 90 minutes and a 2012 release year.

This 68-card collection brings together cards from several holiday-themed Munchkin boosters and promo releases. It includes 39 Doors and 29 Treasures, offering a festive assortment for Munchkin players to add to their collections.

The set gathers material from Munchkin: Waiting For Santa, Munchkin Santa’s Revenge, Munchkin Reindeer Games, and Munchkin Naughty & Nice. It also includes two Christmas-themed cards from Exclusive Warehouse 23 Munchkin Boosters: Gift Card from 2012 and Stocking Stuffers from 2010.

• Four cards that were not yet released when this set was announced: Regift, Ornaments, Pum-Pa-Pum Rum, and House Shoes
• A Christmas-themed Kill-O-Meter
• Two pearlescent Munchkin d6s, one red and one green

The Kill-O-Meter is exclusive to this set and is not available elsewhere. The four new cards were scheduled for release in 2013 as part of another set, while Munchkin Holiday Surprise collects them alongside the holiday cards and accessories listed above.

Initially sold only through Barnes & Noble, Munchkin Holiday Surprise was scheduled to become available to all retailers starting in June 2013. It is a focused Christmas-themed compilation for players seeking holiday content, promo cards, dice, and a distinctive exclusive component.
