Mycelium: A Mushling Game is a board game for 2–4 players that takes about 105 minutes to play. Expand your network of mycelium pathways, connect them to nutrient trees, and be the first player to gather ten nutrients.

Your hand of Mushling cards gives you a versatile set of options throughout the game. Use their abilities, attack other players’ paths, or construct new pathways as you develop your colony across the board.

• Expand and connect mycelium pathways to the nutrient trees in the center of the board.
• Use Mushling cards to gain abilities, interfere with opponents, and build new paths.
• Place gatherer Mushlings to predict where the next nutrients will appear.

Near the end of each turn, return all of your gatherer Mushlings to your colony. They may bring back nutrients and resources, depending on where they were placed and what appears on the board.

Once your gatherers have returned, place them on different spaces before your turn ends. This creates a crucial prediction challenge: you must decide where nutrients are likely to appear on the following turn.

The event deck determines where the next nutrients will emerge, but the outcome is not entirely out of your control. Players can use Mushling cards to look at the deck and manipulate it in their favor, shaping future opportunities while pursuing their own network.

In Mycelium: A Mushling Game, planning ahead matters as much as expanding. Carefully position your gatherers, manage your cards, and anticipate the next event as you compete to become the first player to collect ten nutrients in the Mycelium Forest.
