About this board game

Mytikas is a 2023 board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. You play as builders competing to construct prosperous cities and magnificent temples on Mount Olympus, where higher construction levels bring greater prestige.

To develop your holdings, you must produce resources and skillfully move them upward through the different levels of the mountain. Space on Olympus is limited, so every construction contributes to a race to complete the available levels and secure the most valuable positions.

Offerings to the gods can earn their favor at the right moment. In return, the deities provide special abilities that can help you complete your task. Managing resources, timing your offerings, and deciding where to build are central to your ascent toward the divine light.

• Construct cities and temples across Mount Olympus.
• Produce resources and move them closer to the summit.
• Gain deity cards and benefit from the gods’ special abilities.
• Earn points from building locations and controlled deity cards.

In Mytikas, the game ends immediately when one of three conditions is met: three of the four mountain levels are complete, a player takes the last Lock token, or a player has built all of their constructions. These triggers make the progress of every builder matter as the mountain fills.

After the final construction, players calculate their points based on where their buildings stand and the deity cards they control. The player with the most points wins and earns the title of Chief Builder for the Gods.
