About this board game
Nature Fluxx is a nature-themed card game for 2–6 players, with a play time of about 15 minutes. Its changing rules put woodland creatures, food chains, and environmental hazards at the center of every game.
At the beginning, each player holds three cards. On a turn, a player draws one card and plays one card, but the cards themselves determine how the game develops. New rules can change how many cards players draw or play, how many cards they may hold, and how many cards they can keep in front of them.
The theme includes a whole food chain of woodland life, from leaves to bears. Frogs, snakes, trees, fish, spiders, rabbits, mice, mushrooms, and worms all appear, alongside air, water, dirt, and humans whose pollution can endanger the natural world.
- Composting rule: Draw from the bottom of the discard pile.
- Eating goals: Win when your Keeper says it eats one of the other Keepers in play.
- Changing objectives: The rules and winning conditions can shift as cards enter play.
Nature Fluxx combines the familiar Fluxx structure of evolving rules with environmental subject matter and themed interactions. Because the cards determine both the rules and, most importantly, how to win, the conditions of play can change during the game.
Nature Fluxx features the same cards and gameplay as EcoFluxx, with updated card frame art and packaging. It is a compact choice for players looking for a short card game built around nature, changing rules, and an interconnected food chain.
