About this expansion

Navegador: Pirates & Diplomats is a mini-expansion for 2–5 players, with a 90-minute play time. It adds six cards to the game: three Pirate cards and three Diplomat cards.

The Pirate cards introduce a way to rob goods from colonies. To use this ability, you must have a ship in the relevant sea region, connecting your position on the map with the card’s piracy effect.

The Diplomat cards provide a different kind of interaction. When you sell goods on the market, they allow you to use another player’s colonies and overseas trading stations.

• 3 Pirate cards: Rob goods from colonies when you have a ship in the sea region.
• 3 Diplomat cards: Use another player’s colonies and overseas trading stations when selling goods on the market.

With its two distinct card types, Pirates & Diplomats adds new possibilities for both direct disruption and market activity. Pirates focus on ships and sea regions, while Diplomats let you benefit from locations belonging to another player during a sale.
