About this expansion

Nemesis: Aftermath is a 1–5 player expansion for a roughly 60-minute, five-turn epilogue played after a regular game of Nemesis. New characters board the damaged ship to investigate what remains, while the consequences of the earlier game shape what happens next.

In Epilogue Mode, an unspecified amount of time has passed since the base game’s events. Leftovers from that game can affect the epilogue, creating a dynamic and more difficult experience in a much shorter format of around 45–60 minutes. You may also play with fewer players than took part in the regular game.

Instead of pursuing Objectives, players manage seemingly simple Personal Requirements while cooperating to handle various Alerts. Those seeking more selfish interests can accept the Lucrative Offer, adding another choice to the struggle for survival and success.

  • A five-turn Epilogue Mode designed to follow a regular Nemesis game
  • A new Shuttle board with four additional Room slots
  • Four new “2” Rooms
  • Trait cards for every base-game and expansion Character, each with an ongoing advantage and disadvantage
  • Five new Characters with abilities and identities very different from the base-game Characters

Character selection uses draft cards that let players choose either the base-game or Aftermath Character of a chosen color. The two Characters sharing a color cannot appear together, so each choice prevents another player from selecting the alternative.

With its altered objectives, persistent Traits, new locations, and story shaped by the previous game, Nemesis: Aftermath provides a compact continuation that makes every decision matter.
