About this expansion

Nemesis: Void Seeders is a haunting expansion for 1–5 players, with an average play time of 180 minutes. It introduces a disturbing threat aboard the spaceship, where murmurs, strange voices, and hallucinations push the crew toward madness.

In this expansion, Characters may go Insane by advancing a Status marker along the Insanity track. Their Insanity level affects which type of Void Seeder appears during an Encounter, while reaching level 3 creates a point of no return. A Character at level 5 dies instantly if required to increase their Insanity level again.

Players also draw from a special Panic deck when instructed. Each card compares its required Insanity level with the Character’s current level. If the condition is not met, or the card’s effect cannot be resolved, the Character’s Insanity increases instead.

  • Lairs enter play through Exploration tokens and are the primary source of the crew’s hallucinations.
  • A Character ending their round in a Room with a Lair must perform a Noise roll.
  • Lairs cannot move and are unaffected by Event cards, Retreat, or Danger effects.
  • The physical Void Seeder presence includes Lairs, a Nest, and the guardian known as the Despoiler.

The Despoiler is protected by Lairs, which must be destroyed before it can be harmed. Void Seeders themselves mainly do not exist in physical form, making this threat unlike a conventional enemy. Characters must also protect their minds while trying to understand what is happening around them.

With its Insanity system, Panic cards, and immobile but dangerous Lairs, Nemesis: Void Seeders adds a psychological layer of uncertainty to the spaceship’s dark corridors.
