Neue Welten

About this board game

Neue Welten is a sentence-completion game for 3–5 players, with a play time of about 30 minutes. One player reads a sentence describing something about that player’s view of the world, leaving a crucial gap for the group to fill.

Each other player secretly submits a card containing a word or phrase. One random card is also added to the stack, creating an additional possibility alongside the contributions from the other players. The active player then chooses one card in hand to complete the sentence.

The result is a game about what you choose to say and how well the other players know you. Every missing phrase invites a different completion, while the secret submissions and random addition keep the available options hidden until they are considered.

Neue Welten also integrates with Wie ich die Welt sehe…, connecting it with the original game. Whether the sentence leads to an expected statement or an unusual one, the central question remains the same: what will you say about yourself, and what do the other players think belongs in the gap?
