Night Parade of a Hundred Yokai: Cursed Throne Expansion is a board game expansion for 1–4 players with a 50-minute play time, inviting players to lead a yokai rebellion against a throne that feeds on its ruler’s power.

Two hundred years have passed since King Enma disappeared. In his absence, yokai clans have stormed the streets, parading through the night for souls. Many have tried to rule, but no reign has lasted more than a couple of decades because the throne is cursed.

As the ruler weakens, the magic of the yokai fades with them. If the decline continues, the gates to the spirit realm may close forever, leaving the clans’ legend forgotten. The expansion places this desperate struggle at the heart of a campaign to reclaim the throne and preserve the spirit world.

The Cursed Throne Expansion introduces the new Reign action. Its effect changes according to which clan sits on the Cursed Throne, tying this action directly to the current ruler.
