About this board game

NINE is a strategic card game for 2–4 players, with each game lasting about 30 minutes. Across eight rounds, players use influence and hero cards, then activate their abilities to pursue the most victory points.

Byun Hyung Ja, the 9th Immortal, has revealed himself, finally confirming his existence. His appearance challenges the balance of power between the Immortals as he plots and manipulates their influences.

In this political and strategic struggle, every Immortal must use their influence to the best of their abilities. Each round presents another opportunity to play cards and shape the contest for power.

Card abilities are central to the struggle. Use the influence and heroes available to build your position, while seeking the strongest final result when the eighth round ends.

Based on Koryŏ and Chosŏn, both designed by Gary Kim, NINE was developed by Sorry We Are French. Its focused structure combines a clear round-by-round rhythm with a contest over influence, power, and victory points.

After the final round, the game moves to endgame scoring. The player who has gained the most victory points wins the struggle to restore their power.
