Schöne Sch#!?e: Stroke of Luck

Schöne Sch#!?e: Stroke of Luck is a game for 3–7 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. It adds a clever Lucky Pig twist to the decisions surrounding the card in the center.

Each player receives one Lucky Pig chip in addition to their regular chips. During the game, a player may use their pig once and only once, instead of using a regular chip. If the current card is not appealing, they can place the pig on it rather than taking the card.

• The player who places a pig no longer participates in the remaining negotiations for that card.
• The next time that player would take the card or pay a chip, they are skipped.
• They return to normal play when the next card is revealed.
• When another player takes a card carrying one or more pigs, those pigs are placed in front of that player beside their face-up cards.

Collected pigs are not added to a player’s supply, so they cannot be used again. If every player places their pig on the same card, that card and all pigs on it are removed from the game. The next card is then turned over, and the last player to place a pig begins the new round.

Every pig is worth one plus point at the end of the game. This applies whether the pig was collected from another player with a card or remains unused in its owner’s supply. Schöne Sch#!?e: Stroke of Luck includes seven Lucky Pig chips and instructions in both German and English, and was released in 2017 as Day 13 of the Brettspiel Adventskalender.
