About this board game

Nobel Run is a deck-building game for 1–4 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Manage a research team, develop your deck, and pursue the 20 or more prestige points needed to win the Nobel Prize.

Each turn, use the resources generated by your cards to pay for cards in the common card pool. As your research operation grows, add research grants, lab equipment, researchers, scientists, and inventors to your individual deck.

Your route to the Nobel Prize can earn prestige in several ways:

• Publishing scientific papers
• Getting research grants
• Hiring staff
• Receiving help from scientists and inventors

Recruit predocs, postdocs, and senior researchers while expanding and improving your team from turn to turn. Top scientists and inventors can also support your quest, giving you more ways to build prestige through your growing research operation.

However, the research world is not easy. During the game, different situations can make your run for the Nobel Prize much harder, adding obstacles to your pursuit of the target score.

Released in 2022, Nobel Run combines research management, card-based resource use, recruitment, publishing, and funding into a focused race for scientific recognition. Can your team reach 20 prestige points and claim the Nobel Prize?
