About this board game

NyteLyfe Solitaire is a solo card game for one player that takes about 20 minutes to play. Set in Las Vegas after a night gone wrong, it challenges you to survive until morning while everyone—from a sneaky dealer to wide-eyed vampires—is out to get you.

To play, you supply a standard 52-card deck and use the game’s five setting cards and rulebook. Each round, draw five cards one at a time. Before drawing the next card, decide which faction receives the card, then score the round according to that faction’s rules.

The factions represent the threats closing in around you, including the dealer, vampires, an exclusive nightclub, and the dangerous streets. Your card assignments determine how each round is scored, creating a compact challenge built around decisions from an ordinary deck of cards.

The game ends when the selected difficulty’s lose condition is met. If you play 50 cards without triggering that condition, you survive the night and win. Afterward, calculate your score; 20 points is a perfect score.

Released in 2020 as part of the January Board Game of the Month Club $5+ package, NyteLyfe Solitaire offers a focused solo experience with a vivid survival theme and a simple requirement: make it out of Las Vegas alive.
